The Seven Spirits Before The Throne of God - The Spirit of Understanding
In my last blog I discussed some key events that are taking place. What does this all mean? I believe these events are setting the stage for a major event to take place that will impact the world and confirm how close we are to the end times.
Proverbs 4:7 says, "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding." Wisdom is the application of knowledge. The Spirit of Wisdom gives us the ability to apply the Word of God to our lives. However, applying the Word of God is not enough. The scripture says, "with all thy getting get understanding."
Understanding is having great insight, perception or discernment. The Spirit of Understanding gives us the ability to perceive or discern. What are you discerning?
A couple of weeks ago while listening to my audio bible, the narrator caught my attention when he read Revelation 6:12-13, "I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind."
A week later I received a video from Apostle Ronnie Bailey of Rock of Ages Ministries in Lafayette, Louisiana entitled, "Signs of the End Times - Jesus Is Coming". The video highlighted Dr. June Paul of Operation Outreach for Souls where she discussed the significance of this year due to a series of blood moons.
Within the same week, my mother asked if I would read John Hagee's, "Four Blood Moons: Something is About to Change".
Having heard the words, "blood moon" three times within one week caused me to learn more.
A blood moon occurs when the earth passes between the sun and the moon (lunar eclipse). The sun's rays are blocked from reflecting off the moon as normal. However, some of the sun’s rays curve around the earth causing the moon to appear red during a total eclipse. Because of the color, NASA refers to the moon as a Blood Red Moon. Most of us have seen the moon when its appearance has changed to red. When four blood moons happen in close succession, NASA refers to this as a tetrad. Tetrads are rather rare, only taking place fifty-five times since 1 AD.
According to NASA, the next blood red moon will be April 4, 2015 which is just before Passover; the celebration of the emancipation of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt. This blood moon will be the third blood moon within the fourth tetrad in the last 500 years. Why is that significant?
John Hagee mentions in his book, in the last 500 years when four consecutive blood moons have fallen on Jewish feast days, a major event affecting the Jewish people has occurred in close proximity to that time.
Tetrad of 1493-1494: March 30, 1492, King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella of Spain gave the Jewish population four months to convert to Catholicism or leave the country by August 1. It is estimated that between 165,000 and 400,000 Jews fled the country at this time. As many as 50,000 decided to stay, converting to Roman Catholicism. Queen Isabella appointed Tomas de Torquemada as Inquisitor General of Spain. Inquisitor Tomas de Torquemada set out to expose and torture every crypto-Jew (secretly observant Jew). Evidence that was used to identify the crypto-Jew included the absence of chimney smoke on Saturdays (a sign the family might secretly be honoring the Sabbath) or the buying of many vegetables before Passover or the purchase of meat from a converted butcher. Trials were conducted ending in confession under torture by skinning alive, bone-crushing and ultimately burning them alive.
Tetrad of 1949-1950: May 14, 1948, David Ben-Guion a Zionist statesman and political leader delivers Israel's declaration of independence in Tel Aviv. In accordance with a decision of the United Nations General Assembly and the support of the United States, the State of Israel was established. The first permanent Israeli government took office on January 25, 1949. But from the moment Israel declared independence, they were at war. Seven Arab nations: Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Transjordan, Egypt, Sudan and Palestine came against Israel and they fought until March 10, 1949. For the next several months there were a series of truce agreements signed between Israel and the following countries: - Egypt on February 24 - Lebanon on March 23 - Jordan on April 3 - Syria on July 20.
Tetrad of 1967-1968: June 4, 1967, Iraq joined Egypt, Jordan and Syria to annihilate and exterminate Israel. Approximately 465,000 enemy troops, more than 2,800 tanks and 800 aircrafts, Israel was surrounded. June 7, 1967, the Jordanians launched an attack against Israel and west Jerusalem. Israel counter-attacked driving Jordan out of east Jerusalem, out of Judea-Samaria, and back into its own land across the Jordan River. Jerusalem was undivided and under Jewish control for the first time since the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans in 70 AD. In total 21,000 of Israel's enemies were killed during the six-day war, Israel lost 779 soldiers.
Another significant point in John Hagee's "Four Blood Moons" is "The Shemittah Year". He states, "Shemittah is the Sabbatical year, which occurs every seventh year. Shemittah is 'Shabbat' (the Sabbath) for the land of Israel; the land 'rests' in a fashion, similar to the way the Jewish people rest every seventh day (Leviticus 25:4)." He goes on to say, "While observing Shemittah guarantees abundant produce, neglecting it leads to judgement."
In Rabbi Jonathan Cahn's, “The Mystery of the Shemitah”, he explains that empires see their fortunes rise and fall in accordance with the Shemittah. He points out some of the following events during the Shemittah year:
March 12, 1938 - Adolph Hitler and the German troops march into Austria to annex the German-speaking nation for the Third Reich.
April 30, 1945 - Adolph Hitler consumes a cyanide capsule, then shoots himself with a pistol, as his Reich collapses. America becomes a super-power and the exchange rate is fixed based on the United States dollar.
March 30, 1952 - Stock Market rises to a 21 year peak.
August 5, 1966 - Ground was broken for the World Trade Center which would become a symbol of America's achievement economically. The World Trade Center would represent the elite and powerful of America and become the financial hub of the world.
January 22, 1973 - The United States Supreme Court ruled it is unconstitutional to forbid abortion. Within the same week the Paris Peace Agreement was signed, ending the American presence in the Vietnam War.
June of 1980 - The United States Federal Reserve raised interest rates dramatically to combat inflation, and this helped precipitate the very deep recession as well as the Savings and Loan Crisis; the failure of 1,043 out of the 3,234 S&Ls.
October 19, 1987 - "Black Monday" was the largest one-day market crash in history. The Dow lost 22.6% of its value or $500 billion dollars.
February of 1994 - The United States Federal Reserve began with a modest 25-basis-point hike causing the bond market massacre where yields on 30-year Treasuries jumped some 200 basis points in the first nine months of the year, hammering investors and financial firms, not to mention thrusting Mexico into crisis and bankrupting Orange County.
September 11, 2001 - America was attacked for the first time on our soil since the British burned the White House in 1813. (The Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor occurred before Hawaii became a state of the Union).
September 29, 2008 - The Stock Market collapsed 777 points.
Feb. 9, 2015 - Alabama becomes the 37th state to legalize gay and same-sex marriage.
I encourage you to do your research and study the bible so you will not be left in the dark. The signs are all around us and if you cannot see them then ask God to show you. Jeremiah 33:3 says, "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know."
America we need to wake up and realize that we need the Wisdom and Understanding of the Holy Spirit more than ever. We are in the fourth tetrad as well as the Shemittah and if we continue down this path of unrighteousness, great judgement will fall on America and our lampstand will be removed. Revelation 2:4-5 says, "Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place." 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
The two remaining blood moons will occur:
April 4, 2015 - Passover
September 28, 2015 - Feast of Tabernacles
As John Hagee points out in his book, when four consecutive blood moons have fallen on Jewish feast days, a major event affecting the Jewish people has occurred in close proximity to that time. What event will occur impacting the Jewish people by September 28th? Will the anti-christ negotiate a peace treaty with Israel as well as the rebuilding of the wall which will mark the beginning of the end-times? In addition, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn states, "Usually the beginning of the Shemittah is a fore shadow of the ending of the Shemittah." The beginning of this Shemittah was September 25, 2014. From September 22nd - September 26th, the Stock Market began to sway violently having the most dramatic opening in history. Another point he makes, America has always been the strongest economic power in the world but the Chinese economy has overtaken the United States economy to become the largest in the world. For the first time since Ulysses S. Grant was president, America is not the leading economic power on the planet.
Let him who has an ear, hear what the Spirit is saying, "Repent before it is too late!"
